Partiendo de la realidad, siempre bajo contexto, de que cada vez mas estudiantes poseen dispositivos móviles, incluidas ‘tabletas’, y que (al parecer) muestran un fuerte deseo de usar dichas herramientas de aprendizaje personal en la escuela para incrementar la colaboración y el acceso a recursos… un interesante proyecto (Project Tomorrow), analiza cómo los estudiantes desean asumir el control de su propio aprendizaje , así como de las ‘tools’ que usan para aprender, y se plantea… ¿qué tipo de uso de la tecnología están haciendo los estudiantes, ¿por qué dicha tecnología, presente en su actividad diaria, no ha penetrado en general aún en las aulas?, ¿qué opinan los padres? Enrique Rubio.- interesante propuesta de procedimiento para crear un mapa conceptual. Por mi parte añadiría, el posible interés que tiene incluir, en las primeras etapas del mismo, el uso de Wordle ( http://www.wordle.net/ ) para generar la nube de conceptos, o palabras clave (con sus pesos), correspondiente al tema o dominio cuyo mapa conceptual se pretende desarrollar.

Concept maps are made up of webs of terms (nodes) related by verbs (links) to other terms (nodes). The purpose of a concept map is to represent (on a single visual plane) a person’s mental model of a concept.

Buena síntesis, e introducción, del modelo de competencias de Inteligencia Emocional (IE) de Daniel Goleman.
Mi interés particular por introducirlo aquí y ahora, es por la relación existente entre la el desarrollo de la IE (como aprendizaje transformacional) y su relación con una efectiva auto-reflexión crítica.
Entendemos por auto-reflexión crítica, no ya el análisis de nuestras creencias o pensamientos (reflexión), sino el análisis de cómo nos planteamos los problemas a nosotros mismos, así como el análisis de nuestra propia estructura de suposiciones que usamos, como referencia, a la hora de interpretar nuestras experiencias, de construir nuestras propias creencias, de percibir la realidad y en general de ‘generar significado’.
La auto-reflexión crítica requiere, de manera permanente, nuestro cuestionamiento personal y de nuestras suposiciones, lo que nos conduce, pues, al desarrollo del conocimiento crítico y creativo (objeto de esta pretendida ‘curación de contenidos’).
